Wayne State College in Nebraska has made an investment in green energy to ease its heating and cooling bills in the future.
This chain link fence surrounding this office building at Wayne State College shows the school is ready to transition. If all goes well, the plan to install 56 wells behind this building could be just the beginning of campus-wide upgrades.
"As technologies continue to improve, I see more of this coming in this area and further north," said Chad Altwine, director of technologies at Wayne State.
This is not a full-blown renovation for Hahn Hall. It’s an upgrade applying to all things heating, cooling and energy.
