The Federal Railroad Administration, in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Transportation, has kicked off the Chicago-to-Omaha Regional Passenger Rail System Planning Study.
There’s no guarantee there will be a new passenger choo-choo option at the end of the line, but it’s being studied, anyway …
